Perhaps I should call it a Radiant Modified Cut?

Though in the end, the name hardly matters.

What is certain is this: it has eight clean, defined edges.

And I genuinely love this diamond.

Most of the time, I am not fond of the bowtie effect in coloured diamonds.

But this one is an exception.

Its blue is deep and luminous — and if you look closely, you’ll notice a very faint division running through the centre.

Strangely, this does nothing to diminish its beauty.

If anything, it reminds me of an hourglass — one that has been quietly recording time.

Light moves across both sides, and that subtle boundary in the middle feels like a mark left by time itself.

Perhaps because it is a blue diamond, the association becomes even more interesting.
